How tuition works
Tuition depends on your child's age group, the program you choose and the days a week. Our enrollment page shows the figures, and we go through them with you on a tour.
Forest mornings or the school day
Three days or five
Summer weeks, billed separately
Registration
Registration covers the enrollment file and the setup of your child's cubby and gear. It is due when you apply, and the application shows what it is.
Holding a place
When we offer a place, you hold it with a deposit that goes toward your first month's tuition. When we have no place yet, you join the waitlist, and offers go out in the order families joined, by email and a phone call.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly through our parent portal, with autopay if you like. Summer weeks are billed by the week when you register.
We take part in Vermont's pre-K program and can talk through child care assistance. Ask us how it works with our tuition, and whether assistance is open this month.
Siblings
A second child in the family is handled differently. We explain how at the tour.
Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice, in writing, before a child leaves. Tuition for the month in progress is still due.
Gear, materials and other costs
Lunch comes from home. The costs that exist are the gear library, materials and summer weeks, each listed by name and purpose on the programs page. The enrollment page shows how each is priced.
