Pre-K
We take part in Vermont's pre-K program
Ask us how it works with our tuition.
Families of three- and four-year-olds can ask about using the state's pre-K program at Fiddlehead. We take part, and we will go through the form with you at a tour or by phone. The details depend on your child's age and on the program's own rules, so we ask you to check with us first and not guess.

How it works
Pre-K at Fiddlehead, in three parts
The paperwork
We sit down with each family using the state program in the spring and go through the form together.
The day
Pre-K children spend the school day with us, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.: a morning on the trail, lunch and rest at the base and an afternoon outside or in.
The move to kindergarten
In the spring we talk with every family about the move, and we can help you arrange a visit to the kindergarten you have chosen.
Ask about pre-K on a tour
Bring the form if you have it. We will read it together.
